Bake: Slow Cooker Baked Potatoes

One of the many blogs I regularly follow is by a very talented and brave lady named Chantelle. Her blog is titled Fat Mum Slim and she writes about beautiful things, that have brought me to tears, she writes about life and she takes amazing photos – all with her Iphone. She is the clever inventor of the Photo a Day challenges, which have been mega popular with celebrities like Pink participating.

She recently blogged about her slow cooker baked potatoes and so I went ahead and tried them and they are great! And SO easy!

– Wrap washed potatoes in some foil…no need to prick and no water needed) –

– Place wrapped potatoes into slow cooker and switch it on –

– Cook on high for 4 or 5 hours or low for 8 –

They were such an easy accompaniment to our steak and steamed veg last week.

Thank you Fat Mum Slim.

Do you like a baked potato? Will you try this one?

  1. I need to branch out in my slow cooking skills… I always associate the slow cooker with stew-type dishes. I will give this a go, and I also want to try a dessert of some kind… any suggestions? x Ally
